April Bliss Interiors offers several different Design Packages to fit your individual needs. Our goal is to take the guesswork out of your project by providing a transparent step-by-step process to guide you through the experience.
Let’s Get Started!
Step 1: The Questionnaire
Let’s get to know you! The first step in our process is to fill out our questionnaire. This is done ahead of our discovery call (Step 2). This get’s us further, faster in uncovering your design needs.
Step 2: The Discovery Call
Once you submit your questionnaire, you will be brought to our calendar booking page. Here you will select a date and time for your complimentary call. We will call you on the scheduled date. We will discuss the information provided in the questionnaire during our call and determine which consultation type is right for you.
Step 3: Book Your Design Consultation
After our discovery call, we will follow up with an instructions email for scheduling your initial design consultation. Here you will select a date, time and pay for the consultation. This will officially reserve the appointment in our calendar. You will receive an email reminder the day prior to our appointment.
Step 4: The Design Consultation
All design services start with an initial in-home design consultation. These consultations last between 1-2 hours. It is at this time we will get acquainted with each other and your home, discuss the scope of the project(s) and what you are looking to achieve, your budget, and your time frame. We will provide you with general advice, tips, and resources.
This meeting is what jump-starts our project together. Some of the topics that may be covered during our initial consult may include:
Identifying how your family lives in the space and the function you need to achieve
Reviewing the existing furnishings that will remain
Defining and discovering your design taste
Furniture placement recommendations
Window treatment ideas
Color palette ideas
Tips on lighting
Styling tips
The consult is a time where we provide general advice which also helps us determine what project Design Package is right for you. Please note that this is not when the actual project work occurs. The consult fee covers the meeting itself and 15 minutes of follow up after the meeting.
Step 5: Initiate Design Services
Within 5 business days after the consultation we will follow up with a Letter of Agreement which will include:
The selected Design Package
A detailed list of scope and services to be provided.
This can be signed and dated electronically
We will send an invoice to initiate design services along with payment instructions. This payment is for the design services themselves. The cost of products and furnishings is a separate budget and will occur during the proposal phase.
We will send you our Welcome Packet that tells you everything you need to know about our process and working with April Bliss Interiors.
Once we receive payment and a signed agreement, our work will begin!
